Hi, I’m gonna be straight with you: this is an overall solid and simple car that runs decent, drives good, shifts good, and stops okay. Has the 200 ci motor and c4 transmission. Title in hand. It’s a work in progress and would make a great project for someone.

-Work done: (All items are new) Windshield, fuse box, 1-wire alternator and wiring, fan belt, relayed headlight circuit and headlights (bypassed orig. switch), dimmer switch, ignition switch, cylinder lock, oil, temp and voltmeter gauges, coil resister wire, cap and rotor, spark plugs, points, distributor (not installed), grounding strip, radiator, heater core, hoses, water pump, thermostat, radiator overflow container, (cooling system flushed), sound deadener insulation, carpet and floor mats.
-I have some receipts, but it’ll be apparent that the above items are new.

-All lights work, except reverse.
-Back window has new sealant, front floor boards replaced, carburetor rebuilt and cowl deleted with a plate, along with one air intake duct (driver side) in the cab.
-Sanded (prob needs to be done again at some point) and rattle canned the entire exterior of the car. Used a paint+primer.
-I also have the air cleaner housing but it needs an extended stud as I recently installed a manual choke conversion kit.

-Heater works okay, and is either on or off, but would be better with a 190 degree thermostat, (I used a 180)
-It has some rust (mostly surface) in the usual places, e.g., back fender wells, trunk, inside the doors, and under the hood by the shock towers where the hood sits.
-Despite my efforts, the car has a slow leak at the bottom center of the windshield, my guess is the guy who installed it didn’t seal it well enough as the frame for it looked good.
-Got some rubber sealant on the top left of the hood, and tried taking it off… it’ll need sanding and re-painting (Krylon MAXX flat black).
-The motor still runs pretty strong, with some missing (hence the distributor), but I recommend replacing it with a 302 (5.0L) at some point, as the #3 cylinder is burning some oil, I suspect a bad ring. Also, it needs a new exhaust donut gasket (included w/hardware), and exhaust manifold gasket. The exhaust is not getting in the cab however.
-One bolt for the thermostat housing broke off, and I drilled it out too far (into the coolant passage) and it too now has a very tiny leak (1-2 oz in a week of driving).
-Brake wheel cylinders need to be replaced, and tires are weather checked and are about 30-40% tread.
-I’d also replace the bench seat at some point with bucket seats.
-Driver door striker needs replaced, still closes though.
-Small tear in carpet behind driver seat.
-Voltmeter gauge isn’t hooked up.

-I’m also throwing in an extra fender, exterior trim (complete except rear driver side fender), and 302 motor mounts.

-I’ve had the car just over a year, and am no longer interested in restoring it further due to the water leak at the windshield, the lack of a covered area for it, and I am moving in the near future.

-$2,200 firm cash only.
